JOB DESCRIPTION: 24/7 Level 2 Tech Support, root cause analysis/resolution for system issues, defects, and minor enhancements supporting the lockbox business, operations, and technology. This candidate should be a technical leader with excellent communication skills and a development background in Wintel UNIX technologies. Roles Responsibilities will range from the following: Some coding (script, batch file development) may be required; but more importantly, a thorough understanding of coding and development backgrounds in the above technologies with a lot of people interaction. Incident management - logging incidents in a tracking system, prioritizing them and resolving them against an SLA. Problem management - resolving recurring incidents permanently and performing break fix. Capacity planning - ensuring there is sufficient storage and CPU capacity to support transactional growth on the systems. Business Continuity planning - preparing the application failover scripts to the COB site, executing the Disaster Recovery exercises. Configuration management - tracking the versions of key system artifacts (architecture docs, design docs, unit test plans) and release management. Change Management - submitting change requests, documenting the impact and benefits, getting them approved by a change control board and managing the implementation. Team/Vendor Management: assist in managing/supporting Level 2 3 offshore teams/vendors OPPORTUNITY: A Great opportunity to enhance your systems analysis/architecture skills in a highly complex technical environment, develop new technologies/processes to measure productivity, quality, and control, and be involved in major global tech cash initiatives. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Ability to support Client Server, Distributed System Applications: Understanding of or past development using MSSQL 2005, Delphi, C++, Mainframe would be beneficial for this position. History of supporting transactional and image-based applications plus as well as previous experiences as a HANDS ON Development lead/ architect. (PS : Not necessary a project lead ). NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS: Strong Production Support, Project Mgmnt, Written Verbal Communication, Problem Mgmnt, Organization, Negotiation and Analytical skills are required.
