The Bilingual (Spanish) Litigation Legal Secretary will support attorneys in the International Arbitration Group. Specifically, the Bilingual (Spanish) Litigation Legal Secretary will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and filing of pleadings, briefs, letters, memos and various other types of documents in Spanish and English; coordinating and handling client billing; the scheduling of travel arrangements, meetings and appointments; working with Excel and PowerPoint for a variety of assignments; and performing other duties as assigned. The Bilingual (Spanish) Litigation Legal Secretary candidate will have an absolute minimum of 2+ years of legal secretarial and litigation experience and a typing speed in excess of 60 wpm; International Arbitration experience is preferred but not required. The ability to read, write and speak Spanish fluently is necessary for this Bilingual (Spanish) Litigation Legal Secretary. The Bilingual (Spanish) Litigation Legal Secretary candidate must be available for occasional overtime and possess strong administrative and organizational skills. The ideal Bilingual (Spanish) Litigation Legal Secretary candidate will have excellent computer skills including proficiency in MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint. This Bilingual (Spanish) Litigation Legal Secretary position also requires that the candidate be able to multi-task and have both strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to interact with courts, clients and legal staff.
