A dynamic client of ours is seeking a VP of Integrated Marketing to lead integrated marketing solutions across multiple clients. They are seeking a collaborative, outgoing, creative leader. The VP of Integrated Marketing will be an expert in multi-channel marketing, possessing a broad set of media, marketing and management skills. Working closely with the respective Account Directors this position will have ownership and direct responsibility for all media-related initiatives. This individual will be responsible for the development of strategy and the writing of media plans to meet client’s marketing objectives and the subsequent performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a pioneering attitude, lead clients in establishing a vision for their integrated marketing initiatives, have experience in interactive and direct marketing and social media, have a working knowledge of analytics and be experienced in turning insights into strategic marketing plans. This role will be part of the core leadership team and reports directly to the CEO.
bCore Responsibilities/b As VP of Integrated Marketing, you will:
* Serve as a senior leader for Empathy Lab and an emergent leader in the company who provides relevant, timely cross-media expertise * Understand how to translate brand marketing objectives into succinct digital and direct marketing strategies * Counsel client brand teams to help them understand the value of multi-channel traffic-driving strategies * Identify opportunities for Empathy Lab to provide integrated media solutions to current and perspective clients * Act as a thought leader in the creation and implementation of the agency’s POV on ROI measurements, methodologies and trends * Develop and continually evolve a user-friendly “toolkit” of innovative analytical techniques and methodologies to demonstrate marketing/business performance and deliver data-driven insights that optimize clients’ marketing strategies and tactics to ultimately build their brand and business * Help measure Empathy Lab’s impact by using data management, metrics and analysis to make our marketing efforts smarter and more impactful over time * Maximize clients’ ROI through ongoing program measurement, disciplined testing and results-based performance management * Help integrated teams build forecasts for programs and include track-able measurement touchpoints to measure ROI during execution * Evaluate and assess metrics post-program to provide ROI analysis in program/campaign reporting
bStrategic Capabilities:/b
* Contribute to strategic initiatives. Articulates departmental and Empathy Lab’s view on customer segmentation, media strategy tactics and execution. Ensures that strategies align with objectives and that project goals are met. * Oversee development of data-driven program strategies and analyses for clients (e.g., identifying target customer segments and profiles and define strategies for reaching them with outbound communications resulting in the achievement of project objectives including lead generation, increasing purchase intent, transactions, etc.). * Draw insight from program results and ensure dialogue with client and internal team on informed strategic implications.

* Work closely with account, creative and measurement teams to ensure media plans and creative/measurement work are strategically aligned, client needs are met and Empathy Lab’ quality levels are maintained * Participate in agency leadership initiatives * Promote positive working relationships within the department, the company and the vendor community * Establish trust and credibility with clients
bRequirements:/b
* 10 years marketing experience * Digital and Direct experience required * Agency experience preferred * Healthcare & Retail experience highly preferred * Thorough knowledge and understanding of interactive media (display, SEO/SEM, Social) * Experience in developing, implementing and measuring direct marketing campaigns * In depth understanding of multi-channel media planning and performance analysis * Ability to translate marketing strategies into platform-agnostic communication plans * Proven analytical skills – including experience interpreting and analyzing large sets of multi-channel marketing data into actionable marketing strategies that generate measurable results * Experience in defining and capturing marketing analytics opportunities within client engagements * Ability to articulate results for business audience (internally and externally) with clarity and persuasiveness * Creates compelling visual representations of data * Creative thinker; able to develop unique methods of analysis where traditional methods do not yield results * Data modeling, direct/digital marketing test design, and customer segmentation * Familiarity with digital media measurement tools such as Dynamic Logic, DART, Insight Express, Google Analytics, Omniture, etc. * Background in media planning, brand planning, customer research, marketing analytics, and/or statistical analysis required * Ability to travel as necessary
