Integration Engineer/Architect

Integration Engineer/Architect Columbia,MD An i_SW corp Integration Engineer/Architect will provide hands-on system integration support and architecture expertise to DARPA and the Intelligence Community.This role is a fast-paced technology position requiring knowledge of system integration management approaches, an understanding of system integration monitoring tools, technologies and documents, and the ability to interface with customers and with system component developers. The Integration Engineer/Architect will be responsible for understanding and contributing to system design and will be responsible for helping to manage a technical system integration project. He or she also will often represent the company in interactions with key clients.

Required Skills: 7+ years hands-on experience with system integration projects is desired. Excellent working knowledge of system integration techniques and procedures with experience bringing multi-firm teams together to build systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills and teamwork skills are required. Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., mySQL, SQL server, Oracle, XML and RDF Triple/Quad stores) is desired. Strong working knowledge of system-management best-practices (configuration management, documentation, code archival, etc.) is desired.

Education: BS in a technical field, including Math or Physics, or Philosophy; MS in Computer Science desirable

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret; TS/SCI desirable
