Quality Review/Audit Sr Assoc

Audits and reviews the accuracy of case processing activities such as: claim or commission payments, premium collection and accounting, or systems structure and data entry to ensure compliance and consistency with administrative procedures and guidelines. Develops and distributes audit reports.  Assists with third party audits by completing questionnaires, validating selected claims, responding to errors, etc.  Identifies and recommends changes to improvements in department processing and procedures, and assists in the development of audit guidelines.  May act as subject matter expert and a resource for team members.  May develop and/or recommend training programs to address error trends. Requires seasoned knowledge of call work and auditing procedures and systems expertise for auditing claim payments.  College degree or previous claims and/or call work experience.  3 or more years of claims auditing experience and more than 5 years claims adjudication experience.
