Title: Pastry Cook- Intermediate Line Location: DC-Washington At Hyatt, we believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive associates who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences.  An intermediate line cook requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree. An intermediate cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. Key responsibilities: * Assist the pastry kitchen with the execution of daily production and banquets events orders * Prepares food by following written reciptes and verbal instructions from the Chef * Executes menu items by following established methods of preparation andd assures quality of product by paying detailed attention to color, taste, texture, portion size and overall appearance * Maintains a clean and safe environment by implementing all sanitation codes and appropriate food handling procedures * Set up and clean up of station at start and end of shift * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results and displaying respect and courtesy to all employees * complete any other duties or projects assigned by the Executive Pastry Chef Hyatt associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards.  Hyatt has the best to offer in cook jobs: Whether it's career opportunities, job enrichment or a supportive work environment, if you are ready for this challenge, then we are ready for you.
