HRIS Analyst Tracking Code 304134-570 Job Description Basic Functions: The primary focus of the HRIS Analyst position is to support and maintain Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) while maximizing the effectiveness of HR business operations. This position will provide support for HR reporting, assist with developing functional specifications for applications development and/or modification, evaluating systems changes required to support HR functions and for designing & implementing test plans to evaluate those changes, report writing, analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, conducting work flow analysis and ensuring data integrity . The HRIS Analyst also coordinates HRIS software implementations, upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Key Accountabilities: * Develop ad hoc queries for HRIS Administrators to use for data auditing. * Assist in preparing external reporting (Finance, Compliance, lines of business, and government regulatory reports). * Coordinate and/or participate in HRIS special reporting including demographic, statistical and financial analysis. * Write specifications to modify existing functionality in HRIS, specifically impacting new reports and interfaces. * Interact with IT staff in order to resolve HRIS issues as well as support HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. * Occasionally will be expected to assist with ad hoc tasks. * Utilize problem solving skills to resolve problems using logic, policy and procedure * Determines the functionality (set-up, changes, updates, corrections, etc) of the HRIS system. Responsible for data integrity, table maintenance, system changes and testing, and report generation. Systems currently include ADP and Ceridian * Prepares Federal, State, outside agency reports for compliance including but not limited to Affirmative Action, Vets-100, and EEO-1. * Act as a liaison on HR system-related matters with outside departments. Required Experience * Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Management Science, Business Administration, or other related field * 3-5 years experience with Ceridian systems * Proven analytical, problem solving skills, and ability to be creative in the research and application of technologies and solutions to improve HR functionality Job Location Montvale, NJ, US.
