We are looking for an Accountant to work at the parent company level providing accounting services to our affiliate businesses. This position is hands-on and responsible for assisting with the day-to-day accounting functions.  Responsibilities  As an Accountant at the parent company level, you will be expected to maintain the General Ledger and Financial Statements which will be presented to Corporate Management and other designated associates involved in financial decisions of QHS. You would be responsible to prepare and enter journal entries, analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, assist with preparing financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and subsidiary statements, prepare schedules for and work with financial and government auditors. This position will also assist the CFO and Corporate Controller with special projects. Qualifications  Sufficient mathematical and analytical skills are required to analyze account balances and situations, identify potential areas of concern and develop and present feasible solutions.  Ability to analyze account balances and situations, identify potential areas of concern and develop and present feasible solutions Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Experience with automated accounting systems is essential. Deltek, Costpoint, Cognos experience strongly preferred. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.  Education and Experience Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting or related field preferred. Requires 2 - 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
