Title: Vice President, Advisor Funds Field Wholesaler Location: NJ-Paramus - Investor Center Position Description Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company (FIIS) provides investment management services through investment professionals at financial institutions nationwide, including wirehouses, regional and independent broker/dealers, banks, trust companies and insurance companies. Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company's total assets under management are over $331.3 billion as of June 30, 2009.The Advisor Distribution Group (ADG) currently has a new territory open for a Vice President, Wholesaler. This individual will be responsible for meeting/exceeding sales goals, developing new and maintaining existing client relationships with Investment Professionals and broker/dealers within the Mutual Fund channel. The Vice President will interact with several different partners, including our internal FIIS distribution departments, sales management, Retirement Specialist and the Internal Wholesaler within the territory. Primary Responsibilities: * Travel throughout territory to generate new sales within all Distribution Channels * Increase number of Investment Professionals doing business with Fidelity Advisor Distribution Group * Maximize client relationships by assessing their business needs and offering creative solutions through Fidelity Advisor products, education, and services. * Maintain and document sales activity to ensure production levels. * Maintain and improve existing relationships through increased interaction, introduction of sales ideas and marketing support. * Sponsor and participate in client seminars and events to increase Investment Professional's business. * Liaison with FIIS internal groups to provide superior service, marketing and technology support, problem resolution * Consult with Investment Professionals to help build their business/production through product knowledge, prospecting and lead generation expertise, industry and competitive data. Education and Experience * Bachelors Degree required * Series 7, or 6 and 63 licenses required * Minimum of 5 years of sales experience Skills and Knowledge * Position requires significant overnight travel, with the ability to work from home office when not traveling * Must live in or relocate to sales territory * Field sales and territory management experience * Must have in depth knowledge of Fidelity and/or competitive products * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Superb stand-up presentation, communication and listening skills Company Overview: Fidelity Investments is one of the world's largest providers of financial services, with assets under administration of $3.1 trillion, including managed assets of nearly $1.5 trillion as of September 30, 2009.
