Description: - Health Benefits Actuarial Analyst (PRI0002S) Job Description Health Benefits Actuarial Analyst-PRI0002S Description A Health & Benefits Actuarial Analyst works with a team of consultants to deliver customized solutions that enhance our clients ability to effectively manage health care benefit programs. To fulfill this role, the Health & Benefits Actuarial Analyst will: * Provide specialized consulting and project management support for client projects * Serve as a recognized technical resource to Health & Benefits consulting staff * Perform final review of health benefits plan design or valuation, flex design, and pricing and financial modeling * Advise clients on impact of new rules, assess liabilities and provide strategies on health benefit plans. Qualifications * BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, economics, finance or business * One year health care actuarial experience preferred * Progress toward ASA designation * Ability to identify, design, recommend, and implement efficient, innovative business solutions to clients complex health care benefits challenges * Superior analytical, strategic planning and communication skills * Knowledge of the health and group benefits profession and an awareness of trends influencing the future of health and group benefits for large employers.
