Lead Fiber Technician with TS/SCI

Fiber Optic Telecommunications Technician/ Team Lead - oversees a team of 38+ technicians. The Team Lead is responsible for overall workload of multiple cable installations sites. The Team Lead will manage employee performance evaluations and training. Track and verifying time and attendance and enforce General Dynamics policy. Team lead is also responsible for assisting employees with company benefits, and responsible for employee counseling. Candidate will be required to supervise large-scale infrastructure installation projects. Work involves walking, standing, sitting and lifting materials weighing up to 20 lbs or more with or without assistance. Incumbent expected to perform other duties as assigned as they relate to cable installation throughout the NE CONUS RSC. Requires an associates degree +1 year of experience. Note: Successful completion of a relevant IT certification may be substituted for one year of experience. See notes posted within Education/Equivalent Training Required.
