Designs, analyzes, plans, trouble-shoots, and modifies network components. Provide trouble-shooting expertise on a large MPLS network. Evaluate and report capacity planning requirements of the enterprise network. Provide engineering support to network operations group for problems and prescribed changes to the network. Work with engineering team on overall network improvement designs for a multi-phase optimization of a large enterprise network. Provide trouble-shooting on a large network converting from ATM to MPLS. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience. Requires 10 or more years of related experience. Experience with ATM, MPLS, and MPLS VPN configurations; Cisco routers, switches. firewalls, and advanced Cisco router configurations for core and edge devices; Routing protocols to include BGP and EIGRP.
