Description Currently recruiting for a SQL Server developer for a position in downtown Washington, DC. NO THIRD PARTIES, candidates applying must be willing to be employees of Ajilon (will transfer visa if necessary). Please review the job details, and submit resume for consideration: 1. SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, DTS packages, advanced stored procedure development. 2. Some financial experience required Extensive SQL Server skills (2005 SQL version most important) 3.  Solid understanding of relational database designs / concepts 4. Strong development experience using MS SQL Server 2005 tables, views, stored procedures, etc. 5. Experience using SSIS. 6. Experience defining and building necessary audits and controls to ensure the accuracy of the data. 7. Experience troubleshooting SQL Server related issues. 8. Ability to research and resolve technical issues independently. 9. Must have good communication skills 10. Reporting Services, Notification Services, Indexing and Full-Text Search. 11. 5+ years experience with T-SQL development and performance tuning T-SQL code. 12. 5+ years with MS SQL Server, most recent experience using 2005 version. Candidate must have a strong background in financial applications, and discuss clearly on resume.

Desired Skills: Sybase database experience is a plus. Knowledge of SunGard Investran will be a plus Experience in supporting Investment systems, particularly portfolio accounting and trading functions.

Experience This position requires at least 5+ years of overall T-SQL developer experience. Responsibilities include expert level database development. We are looking for a MS SQL Server developer to join an Application Development team. The position involves the design, development and enhancements in a MS SQL Server 2005 environment. The person will be responsible for developing SQL Scripts, performance tuning of existing SQL scripts and procedures. Experience working in finance sector is must. Experience of developing applications for Accounting and a Back office system is preferred.
