eCommerce/Web Developer

Responsibilities:
Play a critical role in the build our product and platform. The Developer will participate in the design, development and deployment of both transactional e-commerce websites and tools, as well as web service tools used by third party partners.
Qualifications:
7-10 years experience in application development with a strong focus on e-commerce and software product development. Recent hands on application and database development experience required. Experience in a variety of development environments including; Eclipse, LAMP, Java, PHP, C, C++, CSS, HTML, DHTML, etc. required. Must have experience implementing a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) which relies exclusively on Web Service calls to manage business processes.
Experience working with and implementing third party e-commerce services including, but not limited to: Payment methods (PayPal, Google Checkout, BML, Private Label Credit Cards), Customer product reviews, Site analytics (Ominture, Coremetrics), Customer loyalty programs (UMG, Web Loyalty) and Credit Card processing engines (Verisign, Chase, Paymentech, etc.).
Strong e-commerce and / or software product development experience:
- Experience with current development tools such as Eclipse, HTML, DHTML, CSS, XSL, XML, Java, Java Script, J2EE, AJAX, C and C++
- Experience working with MySQL and / or Oracle DB
- Experience implementing SOA / Web Services as the core development methodology
- Experience building front end consumer websites
- Experience building N-tier web and business applications
- Experience working for a company for which software is the product is desirable
- Experience working with core e-commerce elements; shopping cart, site search / navigation, product data feeds and credit card processing
- Experience working with a variety of Content Management Systems a plus
- Demonstrated focus on quality (unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing
