People within Application Outsourcing are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  As part of our Application Outsourcing team, you could be helping to provide the programming, management and maintenance services needed to implement and support installations of both custom and packaged application software

The Technical Architect will lead efforts to interpret and determine the technical approach and technology strategy, Systems Integration Analysis, Architect and Design, Systems migration and Synergies for work requests. The Technical Architect will define technical requirements and design to support Business requirements. The Technical Architect will develop, standardize and introduce methodologies for better application availability, performance and consumption issues. The Technical Architect will support clients Business Units in Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) level estimates, validate requirements, contribute to business case development, shape and define the scope of projects, and preplan assessments to support the business case development. The Technical Architect will collaborate with team members responsible for project launches and delivery to coordinate project schedules, budgets, request management, and work authorizations.  The Technical Architect will lead coding, customizations and configurations of PeopleSoft CRM 8.x/9 application and PeopleTools 8.4x to implement and upgrade application and tools level enhancements, updates on Unix platform using Oracle 10g/11g database.  The Technical Architect will provide solution architecture and design framework for PeopleSoft CRM integration with interface client systems using Java 2, XML, JMS, SOA, PeopleSoft integration Broker(IB) Web Services, MQ series integration technologies.  The Technical Architect will prototype, design and provide solutions using PeopleSoft Technologies such as PeopleCode, Business Process, App Engine, App Classes, BPEL, Web Services, XML Publisher, WSRP, DMS, PSTraceViewer, PS LogReader, PS SendMaster and supporting tools like Symantec I3 7.x/8.x, Quest Software STAT 5.3x.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum of a Bachelor of Science, or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. * Minimum of five years experience in the job offered or five years of experience in the related occupations of Technical Consultant, Systems Analyst, Network Administrator, or a related position. * Minimum of five years of experience in coding, customizing, and configuring PeopleSoft CRM using Java and Oracle on UNIX midrange platforms. * Minimum of four years of experience in process capability development. * Minimum of four years experience in deliverable quality management and creation. * Minimum of four years of experience with ITUP or similar IT Lifecycle Methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with being a functional and/or technical expert responsible for planning, analyzing, defining, and supporting the delivery of future functional and technical capabilities for an application or group of applications. * Experience in assisting in facilitating impact assessment efforts, and producing and reviewing estimates for client work requests. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
