Manufacturing Engineering Operating Manager Youve established your people management and leadership ability. Here is where you take it further. You will manage a team of engineers,technicians and other technical specialists who provide their technical expertise in the support High Performance Liquid Chromatography Columns manufacturing. Your team will develop, implement and sustain processes and methods for product/process quality, performance and manufacturability. You and your team will actively contribute to the successful transfer of products from R&D to manufacturing. You will manage resources to implement business plans and manufacturing engineering programs/ projects that support business objectives. And you will communicate a clear direction and set of goals to your team, providing leadership to achieve those goals. . Qualifications : Required: BS/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 3 years related experience as a supervisor and/or individual contributor, with typically 9 to 15 years experience Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results through others; demonstrated ability to develop and communicate goals and objectives to team members Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, on both business and technical issues across multiple levels of the organization and cross-functionally Demonstrated planning and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to exercise sound, independent judgment Desired: Knowledge/experience with machined parts fabrication methods/tolerances Knowledge/experience with liquid chromatography Knowledge/Application of Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC),Lean and/or 5S principles Please refer to job code 2031659 when responding to this ad.
