Business Development Program Manager

Key Role: Build, grow, and leverage a client base and domain expertise within the firms health line of business offering to US civilian government agencies and organizations with a specific focus on the public health market. Provide a range of the firms solutions and services to the public health marketplace, including change management, business process reengineering, and support for client organizations from strategy through implementation. Plan, organize, and lead tasks and projects and ensure the quality of client deliverables across multiple projects. Maintain and expand client relationships through the delivery of high-quality work. Lead, coach, and develop junior staff and manage client assignments, technical and functional content, and staff resources. This position is located in Rockville, MD.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with conducting research and clinical business in academic research, clinical care, government-funded research, or commercial pharmaceutical research or development environments

-Knowledge of how biomedical informatics can be used to enable research and clinical environments

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the delivery of management consulting services gained at a top tier consulting firm preferred

-Experience with the federal government procurement process

-Ability to show a proven track record as a leader and manager, successfully growing revenue within the US federal civilian agencies, with a prior track record in developing business at the National Institutes of Health "NIH"

-Possession of excellent analytical, client management, and problem solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communications in response to Requests for Proposals
