Softco (software based solutions group) resources are deployed to the Systems Integration & Technology growth platform.  Softco markets, sells, directs, develops and manages our core insurance assets (e.g. Life Insurance platform).  The Life Insurance platform is a global life insurance solution focusing on illustrations, new business, case management, underwriting, issue and policy administration.

Job Summary:

* The Origination Sales Lead is responsible for working with existing Accenture Account teams to initiate, qualify and support the capture of outsourcing opportunities that are profitable to Accenture and have a compelling value proposition to the client.  The Origination Sales Lead focuses on early stage positioning with clients or break-through opportunities with significant long-term upside.

Key Responsibilities may include the following:

* Collaborates with the Client Senior Executive, Client Service Group Lead and Operating Unit Outsourcing Sales Lead in developing and executing the outsourcing origination strategy * Develops the origination approach for a particular Client Service Group, or sub-set of a Client Service Group, and tracks progress over time * Helps develop and maintain outsourcing sales collateral specific to supported industry(s) * Identifies and qualifies specific outsourcing opportunities and effectively transitions the opportunities to capture teams * Supports/participates in activities throughout the sales process, as appropriate * Verifies that Accentures proposition meets the clients needs and values * Provides general outsourcing support for Account teams, including basic outsourcing education and coaching, sales/strategy support, linkage into the broader outsourcing organization and access to current sales collateral and competitive information * Personally develops and sustains client executive relationships through personal meetings, presentations, business networking and/or other business or social gatherings * Proactively identify and drive opportunities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* 8-10 years experience working in the insurance industry/software organization

Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:

* Experience working with insurance companies and/or consulting firms
