Job Description: Management Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. Strategy professionals identify and implement high performance business value creation and transformation opportunities by delivering independent strategic and general management consulting services focused on the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer agenda. Financial Services professionals have deep expertise in strategy work in the Financial Services industry. Key responsibilities may include: * Shaping and leading programs that translate results from business diagnosis and planning into transformation programs/projects * Identifying and prioritizing account level value creation opportunities based on assessment activities and an understanding of client high level visions, performance gaps, and needs * Translating and conveying client business needs into tangible business solution architecture * Shaping and leading effort to define organization processes, capabilities, application of key technologies and performance measurements/KPIs * Shaping and leading business architecture transformational programs * Monitoring and managing target value and performance goals (e.g., strategic, financial and operations), ensuring planned business outcomes are achieved and adjusting program if necessary * Assessing and managing risk throughout all aspects of the business solution implementation * Leveraging the full range of appropriate client and Accenture resources in designing the change plan * Leading effective multi-disciplinary teams to plan and deliver the business outcomes of the journey * Monitoring journey results/business outcomes and making adjustments as needed Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Financial Services industry consulting experience either at a consulting firm or as an internal consultant * Minimum of five years of experience in one or more of the following domains within the Financial Services industry: * Insurance - Property and Casualty - Claims Management * Insurance - Property and Casualty - Underwriting * Banking - Payment Processing * Banking - Commercial and Consumer Credit Services * Insurance and Banking - Information Technology Strategy * MBA degree Preferred Qualifications * Deep understanding of value creation opportunities * Superior academic achievement and proven leadership qualities * Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment * Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment * Desire to work in an information systems environment * Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills * Excellent leadership and management skills * Ability to travel 100% (Monday - Friday) Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa Accenture is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Business Strategy Primary Location USA-NY -New York Other Locations USA-IL - Chicago, USA-NJ - Florham Park, USA-GA - Atlanta, USA-PA - Philadelphia Organization Consulting Schedule Full-time Please refer to job code 466912 when responding to this ad.
