Senior Financial Analyst

Working as an integral part of the Business Unit management team, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting with general accounting, standards development, forecasting, budgeting, and providing accurate financial reporting to senior management. The scope of work includes all operating units in the Glass Tubing Americas BU throughout North America. This position also handles analytical project work such as CI initiatives and strategic investments. Focus on improvement efforts within Finance, as well as in other functional areas, such as Manufacturing, Sales, and Production Planning. Provides leadership within the BU in the preparation of annual budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting. In addition, work specifically with the sales leadership to support product pricing and sales opportunity management. Job Qualifications The scope of this position is to provide assistance to the Business Unit and the plants in the areas of departmental planning, budgeting, forecasting, standards development, analytical projects, and general accounting. The position will also provide corporate reporting and will perform other duties as needed. Specific Competencies 5-10 years experience in manufacturing/plant environment. Demonstrated knowledge of cost accounting, ledger systems, financial analysis, budgeting, investment analysis, and IS functions. Glass industry experience, MBA, CPA, SAP (or other ERP) exposure.
