Key Role: Maintain responsibility for requirements gathering and documenting and work with the Navair Systems Engineering Technical Review process (SETR). Maintain responsibility for providing systems engineering, program management, and consulting to a broad spectrum of current and prospective governmental clients with an emphasis on a systems engineering approach to acquisition and development. Assist with all aspects of the program life-cycle, including requirements definition, analysis of alternatives, architecture development and analysis, in-service support, and systems engineering process improvement. Conduct research and analysis necessary to develop or provide input on papers, reports, and briefings. Provide support for aircraft programs and deliver thought leadership on the acquisition process. This position is located in Lexington Park, MD (Pax River). Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -8+ years of experience with project and program management support -2+ years of experience in working with the Systems Engineering Technical Review process -Active Secret clearance -BS or BA degree Additional Qualifications: -Experience with Open Systems Electronics on shipboard systems a plus -Experience with Air Traffic Control or Carrier Aviation procedures a plus -MA or MS degree in Systems Engineering or another engineering field preferred -INCOSE Certification preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
