Key Role: Provide project planning, scheduling, and overall performance management support to the Joint Task Force National Capital Region - Medical (JTF CapMed). Apply experience with all phases of project management from initiation to close out and managing the knowledge areas of project management, including scope, time, cost, resources, risk, communication, project integration, and quality. Maintain responsibility for quality management of tasks, including monitoring and responding to client feedback, developing procedures for process management and quality control, planning for and monitoring major deliverables, developing and managing to budget, and developing appropriate metrics for tracking and communicating performance to the client. Manage various status reporting documents using Microsoft Excel and Project Plan within a compressed time schedule and develop strategic briefings. Maintain responsibility for coordinating with multiple work streams and interacting with senior level civilian and Military executives and technical staff. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -4+ years of experience in a professional work environment with 2+ of the years working in consulting or providing support to federal, state, or local government -3+ years of experience with full life-cycle project management -Experience with developing project plans and tracking milestones -Experience with developing strategic briefings and presenting to clients -Experience with Microsoft Excel and Project -Knowledge of the performance measurements and reporting requirements associated with the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Act or other construction projects -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -Experience in project management with the Military Health System -Ability to be organized -Possession of excellent written and oral communication skills -BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field -Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) -Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
