Description: - Quality Engineer (QUA100BF) Job Description Quality Engineer-QUA100BF Description The BD Systems (PS) Quality Engineer will be a dedicated member of a growing business. As team member you will work in partnership with our Pharmaceutical customers on a cross functional product development team. Each team is responsible for designing and developing innovative Drug Delivery Systems that meet the specific and sensitive requirements of our Pharmaceutical customers and the needs of the patient. The Quality Engineer is responsible for leading and contributing to activities in the development of new Drug Delivery Systems from concept to product launch. This includes providing Quality engineering support to projects teams, manufacturing facilities and suppliers. Main Responsibilities: * Provide Quality Engineering support to all assigned projects, manufacturing facilities and suppliers. * Function as a Quality representative on Design/Development and Manufacturing project teams. * Interact with customers and conduct VOC throughout the product lifecycle * Assess current operations for quality and compliance. * Develop & implement quality improvement programs. * Ensure Design Control Elements are satisfied. * Conduct Risk Management & Risk analysis activities. * Assist/conduct Failure Investigations and lead problem solving sessions. * Continuously improvement of our processes. * Conduct Reliability Engineering. Qualifications Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering or related discipline. Advanced degree is preferred. * 3 - 5 years Quality Engineering experience or 5+ years industry experience (Healthcare/Pharmaceutical and/or the medical device industry). * Good understanding of Statistical Methods for Quality Assurance * General working knowledge of the 6 sigma process methodology * Thorough understanding of industry regulations: QSR/cGMP, ISO QM standards * Good written and oral communication skills * Excellent problem solving and analytical skills * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in an unsupervised environment * Ability to thoroughly evaluate, clearly understand and communicate all aspects of assigned project.
