VICE PRESIDENT OF CULINARY INNOVATIONS

A Visionary Culinarian with a desire to help revolutionize foodservice at universities and colleges across the US. This is the opportunity for the right personality to be the face of change in education dining.

A Culinary Leader who oversees and manages challenges and innovations in Chartwells resulting in creative revenue generation and improvement, culinary creativity and expertise, new product development and differentiation, lower operating costs, increased efficiency, and improved operating margin.

An Executive Management Team Member and the primary contact with company senior operations management who is responsible for transforming culinary operations under the leadership of the sector CEO

What Will You Do?

* Develop high culinary standards for our retail, board meals, dining and catering operations

* Create relationships with Celebrity Chefs to position Chartwells as a culinary leader

* Train, develop and provide inspirational leadership of Chartwells chefs

* Engineer menus to address cost pressures, but also to address Corporate Social Responsibility, seasonality, health/wellness and high-quality culinary arts

* Analyze ongoing performance and trends in all Chartwells operations and devise and lead improvements working directly with corporate culinary and business excellence teams

* Present to clients and supervise due diligence, transition and predevelopment activities for culinary operations at all new accounts

* Assist Sr. Leadership and Sales Team with Culinary presentations on programs and solutions to potential clients

Do You Have?

* Multiple years of executive-level culinary experience * An advanced level culinary, hospitality or business degree * A proven track record as an innovative and profit centered manager * A demonstrated ability to assess and grow: people, operations, equipment, and revenue * Experience with development and implementation of a service standard platform which can be customized and implemented throughout various business units at a 4 diamond / luxury quality level * Proven ability to enhance profitability, sustainability and creativity across all channels in alignment with business strategy * Ability to efficiently and accurately analyze current performance trends and identify leading indicators for future trends * Ability to remain engaged with the external culinary and foodservice community to bring forth current trends for adoption in our business * Proven industry contacts and relationships that can be leveraged in attracting and selecting other culinary senior team member
