Business Analyst

Position Description
George Weston Bakeries is now part of Bimbo Bakeries USA, a $4 billion fresh baked goods company. Bimbo Bakeries USA is one of the nations leading producers of high quality baked goods including Entenmanns, S.B. Thomas, Arnold, Brownberry and Boboli product lines.
The Business Analyst provides financial reporting and analysis support to the National Account/Market Area sales management team. The Analyst prepares weekly/monthly reports with the goal of maximizing operational and promotional profitability. The Analyst also interacts on a regular basis with senior sales management, account executives and area sales managers. The position includes significant amounts of ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
--Provide reporting and analysis on volume, revenue and variable contribution margin trends
--Assist in the analysis of all trade promotions for lift and profitability performance
--Work with the sales management team to understand regional, customer and brand/product profit performance
--Must be a Margin Minder power user and provide ongoing training to sales management
--Assist in the development of management presentations and customer business reviews as needed
--Work with brand finance teams to develop key financial goals and document performance results
--Work on special projects as requested
Position Requirements
--Bachelors Degree with major in Finance/Accounting/Information Systems
--5+ years of financial analysis
--Strong competencies in data warehouse systems, Excel and Powerpoint (Margin Minder a plus)
