Some details about this position:

* This is a part-time position (24 hours/week) in a rapidly expanding stand-alone peritoneal dialysis clinic. * Shift:  8am-4:30pm.  (3)8hr shifts/week. * Ideal candidate enjoys empowering patients for home care, working with large physician practice, close relationships and proximity to other staff. * Dialysis experience is a huge bonus. * At least 1 year of professional experience within a clinical healthcare setting are required. * Duties will also include monitoring home hemodialysis patients in an associated facility, and occasional home visits (mileage reimbursed). * Patient and cheerful people welcome, and ability to manage associated paperwork and financial applications. * Spanish fluency is a huge bonus and strongly preferred. * LEARN MORE ABOUT PERITONEAL DIALYSIS:  http://www.davita.com/health-topics/all-topics/a/1483

Qualifications

This role requires a license in the practice of nutrition and dietetics where required by state, registered dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, and a bachelors degree in nutrition/dietetics or related area. You also must be able to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities, and travel when needed. At least one year of professional experience in clinical nutrition as a registered dietitian is required.
