: Primary Purpose: This Wayne, NJ based position owns and is responsible for driving sustainable growth in an Acrylates Industry. The incumbent must ensure the short term and medium term sales growth for the business in North America. Duties include: * Setting and reaching targets for the Acrylates Industry * Identifying growth areas and creating plans to reach those targets * Coordinating priorities and leading the Sales Team and Technical Services functions to achieve the growth objectives with existing products * Providing significant input into global marketing for new opportunities and new product needs. * Resource for the Sales Team for market and technical knowledge. Responsibilities: The following are examples of some of the key duties and responsibilities but they are not all inclusive: * Accountable for the Top Line and Bottom Line of a Product Group and/or Industry. * Drive the organization to meet established objectives. * Work with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth through new accounts, new applications and/or new markets for the existing ISP product line. * Take the leadership role in following through to product implementation. * Identify areas of market growth with regional business leaders. * Participate on High Impact Account teams. * Develop and implement tactical plans to achieve growth areas with sales team. * Be available to the sales team for all levels of customer visits * Monitor and communicate customer activities and trends. * Identify opportunities that develop due to changes in standard business practices, mergers, acquisitions, and/or alliances from market leaders. * Monitor and communicate competitive activity. * Identify and coordinate competitive analysis in relation to products, technology and innovation trends for each industry. * Participate in regional forums and ensure the appropriate focus at regional trade shows. * Identify and monitor customer service and product management issues to insure customer satisfaction and remedy. Identification of Opportunities Identification of new business opportunities including New applications for existing products Line extensions on existing products New markets for existing products New products for addition to product portfolio New opportunities through joint development exercises Qualifications: Required Bachelors in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering At least 10 years experience in related chemical industries Minimum of 5 years customer facing experience Functional expert in acrylates, specifically polyacrylates Strong market network 50% travel Desired MBA Project Management experience/certification Please note that we accept online applications only, through our website at http://www.ispcorp.com/.
