The HR Manager will be a business partner to one or more groups within the U.S. Region Franchise. Functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, employee relations, performance management, talent management, compliance with company policies and procedures, communications, project management, workforce strategy, and change management. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and HR Shared Services in the areas of talent acquisition, compensation, organization development, HRIS and benefits. Manage one subordinate. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ? Provide guidance to line management on HR related matters such as employee relations, coaching, company policies and procedures, training, compensation and benefits and general HR administration. ? Contribute to the development of the workforce strategy; align strategy with internal and external customer expectations. ? Serve as a balance between management and employees by effectively managing issues pertaining to workforce management. ? Partner with talent acquisition function to forecast and plan for staffing needs for client group. Conduct interviews, hire staff, conduct employee orientation, on-boarding and training. ? Manage talent review and succession planning process. ? Identify and implement retention strategies as needed. ? Communicate and ensure employee understanding of HR programs and processes. ? Partner with managers and employees to build employee engagement. ? Analyze HRIS and other data (i.e. exit interviews) to identify and determine root causes of issues pertaining to the workforce. Design and implement solutions to HR related issues. ? Plan and supervise work for subordinate. Ensure work product is aligned with HR and business strategy. ? Work with line management to ensure employees are adhering to company policies and procedures. ? Coach and counsel managers on maintaining a proactive employee relations atmosphere. ? Direct and guide managers on performance improvement plans where needed. ? Ensure managers? and employees? performance and development goals are aligned with the business strategy.
