COMSYS is looking to fill a Due Diligence Researcher Position for a contract position with our client in Washington DC. Seeking a motivated and energetic individual to perform background searches and document research and retrieval from courts and agencies on a nationwide basis. Will actively pursue and promote Clients services consistent with client needs, while ensuring total client satisfaction. Position Responsibilities Utilize all resources to determine the availability of information requested. Provide and promote solutions to client research requests to completion, encompassing reports and invoicing. Track down and coordinate the retrieval of all publicly filed documents as requested by clients. Conduct due diligence background searches on individuals and companies nationwide. Utilize appropriate customer service skills and behaviors to effectively communicate and resolve clients needs and issues. Communicate with internal and external clients in a courteous and professional manner. Answer incoming inquiries from clients Illustrate competence with content knowledge and apply this toward clients needs. Develop and maintain hands-on familiarity with research aids, such as journals, periodicals, indices, on-line databases, etc. needed to supplement documents. Balance correspondence with network of agents and document retrieval resources with the needs of clients timeliness, accuracy, and successful completion. Keep abreast of new or upcoming rules, regulations, document types, financial terms, etc. related to the US court system, federal agencies and other applicable fields. Provide support services by assisting other researchers as needed and acting as backup to Customer Service to answer product, service, and account inquiries. Maintain notes on research requests in a manner that allows peers to work on them when the need arises. Develop and foster business relationships with clients and agents in order to grow the Companys business. Demonstrated research skills, including meticulous attention to detail, patience, and drive to achieve successful research results Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested. Qualifications Education/ Requirements: Bachelors degree required Demonstrated research skills, including meticulous attention to detail, patience, and drive to achieve successful research results. Experience and interest in the legal field would be desirable. Proficient typing skills (50 wpm). Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and the Internet.
