QA Analyst

Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for the creation and execution of test plans. The QA Analyst will also be required to gather requirements, solution analysis, documentation, and creation of business specifications. Duties and Responsibilities: -Create test plans and execute QA testing. -Conduct and document requirements gathering workshops to elicit requirements and gather relevant business information. -Partner with business units and IT teams to identify sources of data. -Define and document detailed functional specifications based on the business needs for the purpose of application/system development. -Continual interaction with IT teams in the development life cycle to identify and resolve issues and queries. -Maintain clear documentation and proof of executed testing. -Act as a subject matter expert in life insurance / actuarial processes, procedures, products and standards. -Carry out mentoring role for junior business analysts and QA analysts. -Maintain required Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Qualifications and Experience Required: 1.Bachelors degree or related work experience. 2.Minimum 3 years of actual work experience as a QA Analyst. 3.Life insurance knowledge or experience is preferred. 4.Finance Actuarial or strong financial background is highly desirable. 5.Strong written and oral communication skills are required. 6.Proven skills for eliciting requirements, gathering and analyzing information, documenting, communicating, and problem solving are required. 7.Must be able to travel overseas as a member of a requirement / information gathering team or an implementation team.
