Job Duties:
Responsible for the full Software Management Lifecycle including the design, development and support of multiple applications across various departments within R&S and Coke Business Lines, including Maintenance, Inspection, Turnaround Planning, Security, Materials Management, and others. This individual will be required to understand customers’ business needs and complex heterogeneous environments and think outside the box to identify or define elegant solutions to improve productivity and bring simplicity to complex business processes. Will be required to design and develop service-oriented solutions for n-tier applications, primarily for Web-based distributed systems using the microsoft.net framework. This includes flawless project execution while meeting time and budget constraints.
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
A Senior Enterprise Solution Architect with 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, project management, and application design and development. Knowledge of and experience with a broad range of application Servers, Web Servers, messaging Servers, database Servers, and related technologies. Strong object-oriented background Agile/Scrum experience. Strong experience with application architectures and standards (SOA, N-tier, Visual Basic .Net, C#, JavaScript, SOA, MS Team Foundation Server, SQL Server 2000/2005, Oracle 9i/10g).
Excellent communications, consulting, and client relationship skills. Must be able to clearly communicate complex technical and business concepts, both to clients and to team members, and to negotiate change. Ability to interface at various levels of the organization to present solution options and budget needs, and guide them to the recommended option based on industry best practices.
