Responsibilities: The SMP BA/PM will be expected to have proficiency in the following areas:
Business Analysis – The candidate must possess strong analytical skills and be expected to have expert ability in eliciting, documenting and evaluating business requirements. The candidate will interface with subject matter experts across many organizations and should be able to decompose high level ideas into detailed specifications. The Small Projects BA/PM will spend a great deal of time conducting interviews with clients and facilitating requirements elicitation sessions. Within these sessions the candidate will support the effort by determining solutions that best fit the client’s needs in light of the client's platform and industry standards. The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel and have the organizational intelligence to ask the right questions in order to gather and evaluate requirements for project elements that will require software development work. Candidate must be able to communicate information needed to fulfill these requirements effectively to partners, business and technical staff in both oral and written forms. Project Management – This position will have accountability for the successful delivery of multiple, simultaneous small projects. Candidate will work together with business and technology leads to build well-structured project plans that segment projects into pre-defined phases. The SMP BA/PM will be expected to use communication and leadership skills to establish a common understanding of project timeline, milestones, and expectations on delivery. Candidate will assist in the design, estimation, prioritization and selection of projects, provide direction to project resources, monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, intelligently identify issues requiring escalation and report on project status. Budget Reporting – The candidate will be responsible for managing multiple web-store related small project budgets as well as maintain budget data for distribution to the business representatives on a regular basis. 3-5 years technology experience including requirements management, analysis and design 3-5 years of project management or project coordination experience BS in a technology field or equivalent experience Web or eCommerce experience a plus Experience with Project and Requirements Management Tools (i.e., MS Project, Visio, Access) Experience with Caliber a plus
Project Details
Small projects 100 hours or less Assigned to 12 – 15 clients and will work on several small projects with tight SLA’s (usually 4-8 days) Manage projects and resources with multiple business teams and will provide updates and timelines Utilize internal ticket system to manage workflow and schedule Contract facilitation Team size – Up to 5
