Director - Business Development and Channels AutoReqId 116701BR Responsibilities This position will lead various alliance and strategy projects as well as their tactical execution across Global Business Travel. Focus on Lead Generation ( Increase quantity and quality of internal Amex and Travel Partners) Resellers ( Large Enterprise application firms), New Channel Strategy ( Related or complementary products and services), and Asset Monetization ( Amex BT prospect to non-competing B2B firms). Accelerating growth of the Business Travel products and Value Proposition increasing brand recognition and improving profitability. . Execute strategic framework that leverages internal and external partners to accelerate business growth. . Provides creative thought leadership that leverages Business Travel relationships with focus on network satisfaction to proactively develop innovative approaches to improve profitability. . Support strategic analysis, modeling and forecasting, preliminary deal terms and contract negotiations in order to satisfy both Amexs and partners present and future needs. . Builds and leverages relationships - working with colleagues in the Partner Network, Sales, Client Management as well as other groups including Finance & Marketing, as appropriate offering throughout the North America region. . Develop plans that detail specific actions/tasks that need to be completed, along with milestone objectives, human resource needs and capital or expense investments to successfully accomplish key initiatives. . Required Qualifications . Must have successful track record of business planning, consulting, business development and sales through alliances in international and domestic markets. . A solid understanding of financial performance, P&L and ROI concepts required. . Proven ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level in the building of an alliance. . Track record of developing and executing a partner channels strategy. . Experience of designing and implementing partner sales processes and measurements. . Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and analytics to create innovative solutions to business challenges with strong change management skills. . Strong analytical and project management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize, track, and deliver results. . Excellent written/verbal skills, financial acumen, strong business presentation skills and technical skills. . Strong leadership, ability to comfortably work with senior leaders and influence at all levels of the organization. . Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. .
