The Role Bloomberg is looking for qualified legal analysts to join its law products group, BLAW, with experience in commercial litigation. Each legal analyst will create, organize, and develop innovative current awareness and research products related to the procedural aspects of litigation. Using legal research, writing skills, and prior litigation experience, a legal analyst will create advanced and sophisticated written legal analysis and design tools for practicing attorneys in the following areas: civil practice and procedure; appellate practice and procedure; evidence; constitutional law; conflicts of law; class actions; and products liability. Qualifications: - Law degree from an accredited law school - Various levels of experience needed - Excellent editing, legal research, analysis, and writing skills - Ability to complete assigned research and writing projects by prescribed deadlines - Must be able to work in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment - Effective communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal - Prior law journal or legal writing experience is desirable
