Inventory Control Job ID: HITS05091032 Inventory Control - Washington DC Metropolitan Area - HITS05091032 Description: Job Title: Inventory Control Job Code: HITS05091032 Job Description: * This is a full performance level position work within the Logistics Service Officer occupational specialty with officers generally located throughout the Agency. * This is a multi-incumbent position and is located in various Directorates, Components and Staffs Overseas; throughout the headquarters area travel PCS and TDY opportunities are available only as requirements dictate. * At the full performance level, incumbents work independently under Positions at this level work independently with minimal supervision and are responsible for purchasing materials and services for area of assignment; coordinating and administering processes for the transportation of material and people; maintaining inventories of goods and materials for area of assignment; coordinating with Facilities Management in the implementing of office moves, renovations, and maintenance. * This position is based on assignment, incumbents may serve as team leaders or first-line supervisors; prioritizing and delegating work assignments, providing technical direction and guidance, and formally evaluating subordinate performance. * Based on assignment, incumbents may serve as Contracting Officer Technical Representative responsible for a full range of contracting activities in coordination with contracting officer. Qualifications: * The position requires an agency acquisition system, Word, excel, access, Internet, various internal databases to request services, travel and complete accounting. * The position requires a successful completion of a 4 years progressively responsible work experience comparable at the developmental level in a Logistics assignment. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Poly Security Clearance and to maintain the clearance.
