Manage operational activities for a cluster of branches, ensuring compliance with established internal operational standards and government regulations. Participate in audit exit interviews and ensure significant and/or recurring issues are corrected and communicated throughout assigned branches; conduct follow-up visits and reviews until performance reaches acceptable levels. Meet regularly with branch management and employees in assigned branches to communicate new procedures, review audit results, address defalcations and share best practice. Lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, development plans and reward/recognition practices. Cultivate an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand. Manage operational activities in a cluster of branches. Need to interview and train Customer Service Representatives within assigned branch cluster. Serve as liaison between assigned branches and support areas to address branch operations-related issues, including facilities, security and regulatory issues. Live and represent the brand; exemplify the five brand attributes of being perceptive, progressive, responsive, respectful and fair, both internally and externally.-aComplete other responsibilities, as assigned. Ensure proper appearance and operational effectiveness of assigned branches. Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues. Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators. -a Basic Qualifications: Bachelor Ts degree or equivalent experience Minimum of fours years proven and progressive branch operations experience or equivalent A minimum of two years proven experience as an Assistant Manager or equivalent experience Strong communications, leadership, customer service, problem-solving, organizational and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of Company products and branch delivery system and pertinent operation policies, procedures and regulations Ability to be flexible in scheduling and travel Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese preferred
