Title: Inside Sales Representative (ISR)
Reporting to: Director of Sales
Position Objective This position is key and strategic to the growth of Basecamp Business. The ability to generate sales volumes at the required level will directly affect the companys ability to mature. Generate revenue by identifying, qualifying and closing opportunities of a calendar application while identifying and handing off certain opportunities relating to the Enterprise Sales Group (Field Sales). The company is counting on success at the Inside Sales Rep level to increase brand identity, value and awareness among the identified market segments. Direct contact with identified accounts and relevant contacts within those accounts is required to increasing revenue and profitability for Basecamp Business.
Responsibilities Drive communications with approximately 50 cold prospects/day while managing the results within the opportunity management system (CRM). Primary vehicle is cold calling via telephone. Manage the lifeline of your sales funnel from cold prospects to closed customers that are referenceable. Manage a $ goal on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for a specified account or geographic mix of territory. Be able to interact with other groups within the company including but not limited to: Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, Engineering and the Executive Management team (Including CEO, COO, and other VPs) Participate in the development of the sales strategy and tactics as required. Assist in the development of target markets and applications: segmentation analysis, competitors, market analysis as required. Be responsible for providing feedback to management on what is working; and what is not working so that we can adjust on the fly and maximize the opportunity we have in front of us. Increase companys awareness by identifying wins that are appropriate for the press and trade analysts to promote. Use these promotions to facilitate future sales.
Education Requirements BA required
Years of Experience required for this position 1-5 years of business related activities
Technical skills proficient at General Computing Skills plus MS Office (i.e. WORD, PowerPoint, Excel) Cloud Customer Relationship Management software (e.g. Salesforce.com)
Languages: Must be able to communicate in English clearly and concisely. Must be able to listen to the customers needs; document those needs and follow up appropriately to close deals. Good communications skills both internally and externally. Good, correct, concise use of the written language as well.

Be savvy enough to understand and address customer technical and business objectives i.e must have demonstrable Objection Handling Techniques Attention to detail i.e. Being effective at documenting results and correctly fulfilling customer orders.
Salary range $ 18,000 salary On Target Earnings package $ 50,000 (inclusive of commissions)
