The successful candidate will be responsible for effective teaching, research, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include teaching courses in bioinstrumentation, control systems, medical imaging, physiological signal processing and systems physiology. The typical teaching load is three courses per semester, along with research, advising and service responsibilities. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in biomedical engineering, or a related field. All candidates must demonstrate development of and plans for a research program that integrates their teaching and scholarly interests. Preference will be given to those applicants who have appropriate teaching and research experience for the rank of assistant or associate professor and experience with curriculum/lab development.
