Address: 11th and Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 House Front Valet Parking Attendant The primary responsibility of the Valet Parking Attendant is to drive guest and hotel patrons vehicles to and from Hotel CarPark facilities in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities include: * Greeting, welcoming, and accommodating all guests. * Providing a seamless arrival and departure for all guests. * Handling guest belongings, luggage, clothing, and vehicles with care and respect. * Transporting hotel guest in hotel town car safely and efficiently. * Assuring a quick and discreet departure while conveying appreciation and hope to return. * Assisting elderly and disabled patrons of the hotel as needed. Qualifications Minimum Requirements * Previous experience as Valet Parking Attendant is preferred. * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * 18 years of age with a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record * Knowledge in operating all types of passenger vehicles with standard or automatic transmission * Familiarity with handicapped guest vehicles/equipment and ability to assist. * Strong interpersonal skills and a "guest first" mentality * Ability to respond and resolve guest complaints in a manner compliant with hotel standards and image * Ability to notify appropriate contacts in emergencies * Ability to interact with diverse individuals and function as a member of a team * Ability to learn and adhere to policies, procedures on safety, respectful work environment, and performance * Ability to drive all cars in a safe manner and adhere to traffic laws and driving regulations * Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance according to dress code/grooming standards Additional Information * Weekend shifts are required to meet business demands of a 24-hour/7 day operation.
