Cashier

MileOne, Herb Gordon Mercedes-Benz in Silver Spring, MD is now hiring for a full-time Cashier with receptionist and light clerical duties to work in our service department. Hours are Monday thru Friday 10:30 am ? 7:30 pm.

Primary Responsibilities: ? Receives cash checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received ? Close or final all repair orders for which funds have been received in computer system ? Use various dealership software programs for input and retrieval of information, such as determining the status of customers vehicles ? Answer telephones, working the switchboard and serve as backup to the receptionist as needed ? Keep filing current and organized. ? Proof documents for completeness and accuracy

Required Experience: ? 1-2 years previous cashier experience in a dealership preferred but not required ? Good communication skills both written and verbal ? Professional appearance and work ethic ? Superior customer service skills ? Strong mathematical ability

Required Education: ? High school diploma or the equivalent
