D/R HOTEL CASHIER/SENIOR SUPERVISOR

As Hotel Cashier: 1. Operates Point-of-Sale cash registers in food and beverage or other retail outlets. 2. Receives cash, credit cards, or other settlement documents, makes change, issues receipts and maintains records of all transactions. 3. Remits documentation and funds to the hotel cashiering office on a timely basis for recording. 4. Maintains professional apparance at all times while greeting customers in a courteous and enthusiastic manner. 5. Maintains familiarity with company activities for responding to customer inquiries. As Senior Supervisor: 1. Directly supervises, coordinates, and monitors the activities of Hotel Cashiers on a given shift. 2. Performs cashier functions when directed by the Casino Cashier Manager. 3. Administers hotel cashiering functions in absence of the Casino Cashier Manager. 4. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education/Experience/ Skills/Requirements High school diploma preferred. Good communication skills a must. Knowledge of personal cumputer applications preferred. Two (2) years as a cashier in a hotel operation required. Experience using HSI Point-of-Sale System preferred.
