DEADLINE: November 2, 2009 The Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology invites applicants for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track faculty teaching appointment in Wildlife Ecology, available 1 September 2010. QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Wildlife Ecology or closely related field; strong interest and ability to conduct high-quality teaching and advisement of undergraduate students. RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is 90% teaching and 10% research. Responsible for teaching Wildlife Conservation and Ecology (Fall and Spring), Wildlife Management (Fall), a Mammalogy laboratory section (Fall), an Ornithology laboratory section (Spring), and possibly other courses such as Herpetology, depending on interests and qualifications. Candidate will also advise undergraduate majors, participate on graduate student committees, and mentor undergraduate research.
