Execute the Sarbanes-Oxley design reviews and test plans for the company in a timely manner . Document work in accordance with department practices and WP standards . Communicate SOX testing results to the compliance manager, compliance director and the process owner Specific Responsibilities: . Execute Sarbanes-Oxley design reviews and test plans at assigned locations . Prepare detailed findings for review with appropriate management personnel . Prepare and assemble workpapers for assigned audits . Communicate and work with the process owner to validate findings and agree to appropriate remediation action plans . Provide timely status reports to the compliance manager and compliance director on progress of activities . Develop value added relationships with process owners and local business unit management QualificationsRequired (Experience, Skills, Academic): . 3 - 5 years experience in a Big 4 Public or National Accounting firm with a focus on Sarbanes-Oxley work . Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA preferred . Must have superior internal control and audit skills and familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley sections 302 and 404 . Moderate out of town and local travel, estimated at no more than 40% per year is required . Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload . Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with the appropriate levels of management and the internal audit team . Excellent time management skills and a process-oriented approach . Flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions and requirements .
