CADD/BIM Support Technician

Location: Syracuse, NY

Maintain and support CADD applications, CADD Standards, and corporate procedures to improve and maintain document production productivity. Will provide training and support to all CADD users. Update and organize CADD standards & guidelines to improve the quality and speed of CADD productivity. Install, configure, and maintain CADD components related applications, and devices. Investigate, recommend and install CADD enhancements and operating procedures that optimize CADD productivity. Customize CADD programs to meet internal needs. Maintain CADD licensing and compliance. Attend and coordinate in house and outside training seminars and classes. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of company CADD software and platforms. Ability to troubleshoot CADD related problems. General knowledge of programming logic. Ability to write technical instructions in the use of CADD program and investigate and analyze information to draw conclusions. Must have interpersonal sklills, ability to learn and be team player. Associates degree and three to five years of CADD experience required. May require evening and weekend work.
