QCI Analyst

AstraZeneca LP is seeking a Quantitative Commercial Insight Analyst for its offices in Wilmington, DE to be responsible for using skills in computer programming (SAS) for the manipulation and analysis of large data sets, with an ability to translate strategic questions into business solutions through objective data investigation and secondary data analysis. The position requires a minimum of an advanced degree in Statistics or a quantitative discipline such as Economics or Operations Research with an emphasis on optimizing budgets and investments; two years? experience in use of ANOVA/ANCOVA, regression analysis, response surface modeling, optimization and simulation (with an emphasis on probability and statistics), multivariate statistical techniques, and cluster analysis; two years? knowledge and use of Base SAS and SAS/Stat for analytics; knowledge of Six Sigma methods as applied to process improvement (including green belt training); experience with Access, Word, PowerPoint, VBA, and SQL; and knowledge of IMS Xponent, Early View, and APLD data. These experiences may have been gained concurrently.
