Description Associate Scientist II: Analytical Objective: Work in a team based environment to provide safety testing of pharmaceuticals and/or manufacture clinical and commercial products that are scientific in nature for use in the life sciences industry. This testing involves technologies in Analytical. Responsibilities: * Comply with all cGMP & GLP regulations, utilize correct cGMP & GLP documentation practices * Maintain and operate basic laboratory equipment * Use various computer programs for routine tasks such as generating reports, ordering supplies, and creating deviation and non-conformance reports (Word, Excel, Oracle Applications, Oracle Discoverer, etc.) * Perform revisions of existing SOPs * Comply with all health and safety regulations * Comply with BioReliance company policy * Designs and conducts reports pertaining to studies. Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses. Provides analysis and interpretation to data and preparation of final reports. * Critically analyze data and interpret results of experiments. * Qualified individual should have demonstrated competence in the evaluation of new techniques and procedures for operations systems, procedures and technologies is required; demonstrated proficiency in experimental design and excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently is required; proven ability to lead and provide work direction is also needed. * Other tasks as assigned Complexity: * Utilizes problem solving skills and may rely on lead/manager for additional support * Exercises good judgment * Initiates and completes projects independently * Demonstrates leadership capabilities * Works independently on routine tasks * Receives specific instructions for new tasks Education: AA degree or higher in scientific discipline with 4-6 years experience and clinical/industrial Laboratory experience Experience: * Proficient in relevant laboratory techniques and mathematical calculations * Working knowledge of manufacturing process to include knowledge of relevant materials and equipment * Ability to follow procedures * Working knowledge of applicable computer programs * Strong written and oral communication skills * Ability to train others in relevant tasks * Experience with HPLC, SDS-PAGE, and other protein characterization assays. 432addCart BIORELIANCE 1 Apply for this Position BIORELIANCE 1 432 Send to a Friend Please refer to job code 432 when responding to this ad.
