Rebate Accountant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Preparing journal entries related to the recognition of rebate revenue and cost of revenue, including solid documentation to support entries. * Developing reconciliation of rebate adjustments to support income statement reconciliation. * Prepare consolidating / eliminating journal entries. * Researching and resolving rebate inquiries regarding presentation on financial statements. * Preparing other non-rebate journal entries and account reconciliations as needed. * Supporting corporate SOX internal controls and documentation related to rebates and other key financial functions as necessary. * Providing analytical support to the Finance Department as needed. * Performs other duties as assigned to meet corporate objectives. QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS required, outstanding analytical skills, solid verbal/written communication, interpersonal, organizational skills and strong computer skills (Excel mandatory).
