Food Service Associate

Job Details:  *

•        Performs necessary duties related to preparation and service of food to patients, residents and customers of Rochester General Health Systems facilities.

•        Performs assigned stations on the tray-line or dish-room meeting departmental standards for quality, accuracy and speed.

•        Ddelivers all meals to and from units and/or collect all soiled trays following department standards as scheduled

•        Performs assignments in other areas within the department as requested by supervisor.

•        Delivers thee highest level of Customer Services as outlined process and procedure.

•        Rreplenishes work stations and supplies thoroughly for next meal.

•        Transports all food and non-food items to appropriate units as assigned.

•        Prepares and/or delivers trays specially requested Nursing Units and document the requests.

•        Prepares and delivers all between meal snacks as assigned.

•        Maintain a personal representation of the Food and Nutrition Service Department through professionalism, hygiene and uniform.

Requirements:

The qualified candidate will have 3 years of experience in food service and be proficient in speaking, reading and writing English as this position requires interfacing verbally with the public. An ability to follow oral and written directions is also required.
