No Date Posted 10/29/2009 Closing Date (Things you should know about closing dates) 01/25/2010 Position Description The Digital Receiver Technology (DRT) Training Department is seeking personnel to join our team of instructors and provide technical instruction on our various products to a wide customer base. The instructor will be responsible for conducting training classes to customers locally at the DRT office as well as at customer sites. Travel averages one to two weeks per month within the U.S. and could include international travel. Other responsibilities include working with the engineering department to develop training materials for new products and services, and with field support for product development. On a rotational basis Trainers will also provide customers with technical assistance through our 24 hour support line. The position involves having excellent communication, organizational, and customer relation skills, as well as strong attention to detail, strong presentation skills and excellent problem solving skills. The Trainer will become familiar with the DRT product line, and learning/understanding of modern wireless communications formats in order to teach various skilled customers. The ability to travel is a must. The candidate must have at least a Current Top Secret (TS) clearance, and ideally will be proficient with computers running various Microsoft Operating Systems and Office programs, have experience as a Trainer and previous experience using DRT equipment. Experience with cellular formats, networks, and Radio Frequency (RF) is a plus.
