Description As a Food Service Worker, you must be available to work any shift required, to include nights, weekends, holidays and swing shifts.

TASKS/SERVICES. The contractor shall:  * Coordinate workflow as working supervisor that assigns work for up to five-seven IAP contractor co-workers. May not supervise or lead government employees. * Responsible for the preparation, storing and serving of food in Walt’s Express * Apportions salads, slices meat utilizing mechanical equipment and assists with preparation * Setup Walt’s Express for food distribution, breakdown and clean-up of assigned area when the meal is finished returning unused food to the main kitchen * Prepare salads and hot and cold sandwiches using prepared ingredients for carry out meals, replenishing when necessary. Will be required to work in other parts of the kitchen in support of Walt’s Express. * Serve meals to customers, patients and patrons * Ensure side service stands are stocked with condiments, gelatins, juices, desserts and butter etc * Operates mechanical dishwashing machine * Maintain clean and sanitary work area * Interact with customers and patients on a frequent basis * Provide excellent customer service * May be required to work 7:00am to 3:30pm at times CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSE, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OR OTHER EXPERTISE REQUIRED. The contractor must have:  * Basic skills and knowledge to perform tasks involving food service. * Practices safe work habits that also fosters a safe work environment * Familiarity with the various audible and light signals of each piece of semiautomatic equipment and able to react in an appropriate manner to each signal; be able to remove empty detergent containers and replace them correctly with the filled containers. * Familiarity with safety precautions of each position and is required to remove ear clothing/or accessories in the performance of all duties. * Must stand and walk and at times lift items weighing up to75 pounds * Must stand, walk, and lift items weighing up to 50 to 75 pounds * Ability to push foods carts to refrigerated garage or walk in freezer * Some work may be performed in noisy areas and in an air conditioned but humid wash area. * Employee is subject to getting wet while using pressure washing equipment. * Subject to standing for long periods of time and to slipping or falling on wet floors Pay Rate: $10.66/hour
